Schertz Lift Station and 48” Sewer Main project
CCMA has contracted for the replacement of an existing wastewater lift station near the intersection of Bubbling Spring Road and River Road. The new lift station will include updated pumps, alarms, backup power generation, controls, and other improvements, as well as a dramatically increased operational capacity.
In addition, the project includes approximately 4,000 linear feet of 48” sewer line to replace the aging 27” and 15” sewer lines. The additional burial depth will also support future operational improvements to the surrounding sewer collection system.
The total cost of this work is approximately $13,000,000, with an estimated completion date in late third quarter 2026.
FM 1518 18” Sewer Main Project
CCMA has contracted for the relocation of existing sewer lines within the FM 1518 right-of-way. This work is required to accommodate the widening of FM 1518.
The project consists of the installation of approximately 4,200 linear feet of 18” sewer line, as well as the demolition and elimination of an existing sewer lift station. Removal of the lift station will simplify system operation and maintenance while reducing future operational costs.
The total cost of this work is approximately $4,200,000, with an estimated completion date in early third quarter 2026.
